When visiting New York City, you might want to go see a game or two. There are several teams, whether they are professional teams or amateur teams, which have games at all points of the year. The following are some of the sports arena's and teams that you can watch on your visit.

A Piece of Advice: If you are going to be attending one of these venues, you need to be informed of several things. Review the Individual New York Venue Info for each Stadium above. and Also:

1. Make sure you know where you are going. For example, many people confuse Radio City and the theater at MSG. Be careful, because if you are already running late, that mistake will make you about 15 minutes later. Get directions and make sure they are accurate. Most of the concierges at the hotels know their stuff so ask questions.

2. Criminals are everywhere so be wary. Pickpockets love to get you when you are in a crowded atmosphere, such as a sporting event. Try not to bring more with you than you have to. Make sure that you are aware of your surroundings. That doesn't mean become paranoid, just keep a look out.

3. Make a plan with your family if for whatever reason you get lost. Decide where to meet if you get separated.

4. Make sure that you have your tickets with you. New Yorkers are nice (aside from popular belief) but they are not so nice to let you in to a venue without proof that you bought a ticket. No ticket… no entry.

5. Remember, most of these venues are accessible from anywhere in the city. All hotels will have information ready for you and who knows, you might find a good package that includes a sporting event.
